If I wasn't doing this right now, I would probably be watching netflix or napping. I would be doing that because I’m really tired from doing homework and finals.
In some eras of my existence I used my limited time on this desolate planet to consume video content, eat nacho flavored triangles from a bag, and submitting my body to extreme and unimportant labor from my employer Jeffery Bezos. Then I would repeat the cycle just to find some significance to my dreary existence. Sometimes I would avoid doing new things for the fear that I would not find the new routine enjoyable
Want to feel like your life isn't a waste? Are you chronically depressed? Uninspired? The joys of travel, of experiencing new places, people, and things, can do a lot to make your life feel fulfilled. Who needs a purpose in life when you can distract yourself with all the culture of the world
If I were not doing this current writing gig, I'd be accepting another gig. I actually can't hold down a job, so this I really the only work I can do. I have to pay bills and feed my cat, so I'm doing this. Plus I feel like it's important to work as a member of society
If you are donating much but not getting much what's up with happiness giving too much ! Not fast you riding . Where?
What are we doing with our free time? Is it like a junk drawer? Get rid of boredom! Eliminate boredom! No more boredom! Find new experiences. Live in purposeful ways. Be emotionally fulfilled. I like this show. I feel relaxed and happy because someone else is in control.
Things to do: spend time with friends, play sports, eat out. But those aren't always great for you as a person. You want to create a more wholesome life.
If I weren't doing this in this moment I'd be cleaning up my stuff. That way I'd have more time to pack tonight for my flight home in the morning .
What would I be doing if I weren't doing this? Sleeping! Why would I be doing that? Because I am exhausted. All the time. Running on fumes.
Instead choose to practice doing the things you love more and more while also practicing to spend less time on the things that bore you or cause you to flush your time down the toilet. Increasing your level of fulfillment is just as much about getting rid of pointless activities as it is filling your time with things you enjoy.
